Feature Overview

Physicians often conduct telehealth visits using other platforms like Doximity, Zoom, Jane, etc. You can easily record your visits - both audio & video calls, using Empathia AI and auto-generate your notes, just like recording an in person patient visit.

How-To Guide

1. From the Web

  • Once you have launched your telehealth platform in a separate web window, click on the blue "New Encounter" button in Empathia to launch the recording window

  • Click on the up arrow on the Recording button to see additional options. Select "Record Televisit"

  • Conduct your conversation as usual on speaker mode, to capture the details of the conversation. Your SOAP or consult note will be autogenerated at the end of the conversation.
  • The ability to record conversations using your headsets is coming SOON - stay tuned for updates on your web portal.

2. From the Chrome Extension

  • Locate the similar up arrow on the recording button & select the "Record Televisit" option

3. From the App

  • Use the regular recording mode to capture your conversation with the patient during a televisit. We highly recommend using Empathia's in built Telemed feature on the app for a simplified workflow.

Best Practices and Tips

1. Launch your telehealth platform on the web for optimal audio capture.

2. Ensure to gather patient consent for using the AI scribe along with the telehealth mode of visit
